Mallorca Cala Millor begun in the 60's when the
first hotels were built and there were only a few bungalows and
some more hotels being built, the beach was extremely long, full
of sand dunes. Tourists come back year after year for more.
This is a sign that they enjoy walking along the beach of Mallorca
Cala Millor, going pony trekking, walking or cycling through the
green areas of the surroundings. They enjoy a wide variety of sports
like squash, tennis, water skiing, sailing, golf and many more.
Glass bottom boats make regular trips from Mallorca Cala Millor
along the east coast. These go either north to Cala Ratjada or south
towards Porto Cristo. The Fantasy Park outdoor play area near to
the centre of Cala Millor is a paradise for children. It's next
to the Parc de la Mar gardens.
You can see giraffes, zebra, elephants and monkeys at the safari
park between Mallorca Cala Millor and Sa Coma. You can either drive
around the circuit in your car or take the zoo's own mini-train.
The more energetic can walk up to the medieval watchtower on the
headland of Punta de n'Amer. This offers spectacular sight of the
sea and over the resort. Tourists spend nights going to dinner at
night in the restaurants or having a drink in the pubs, caffes and
bars or to dance in the discos.
