Ibiza Sant Antonio is characterized to have
an important hotel offer and a varied complementary offer. From
the port of Sant Antonio, baptized by the Romans as Portus Magnus,
many boats ships periodically visit some of the most beautiful beaches
of the area.
The marine funds of this area also have a particular importance,
because they are rich in prairies of oceanic Posidonia. The biodiversity
of Ibiza San Antonio includes reptiles as the endemic small lizard
and the gecko. Among the habitual birds found in the area are the
sparrow and the gull
The maritime walk (Paseo Marítimo), parallel to the sea, and the
fountains walk (Paseo de las Fuentes) are an encounter point for residents
and tourists. At the evening a market stands in the walk that offer light
and color to the walk where the tourist can buy many of the typical ceramic
and gastronomy of the island
Few of those who arrive to Ibiza San Antonio leaves the island without
seeing the sunrise from SesVariades, where the sunrise show is completed
with the one offered by jugglers, fire-eaters and the best music
of the moment. Inside the town the visitor can find the West End,
a well known area of bars and pubs.
